Who you'll be working with

I'm Nick, the owner of Showcase Web Designs. I started the business in early 2026 after five years' experience as a software engineer and web developer.

I want small businesses to have websites and tools made for them specifically, at a price that works for a small business. I respond quickly and keep you informed at every step.

Outside of work, I'm with my wife Hannah and our three dogs, Rigby, Bacchus and Kali. I built our wedding website, too.

Sometimes the right answer for a business is software, not another web page. I build small, focused tools around how a business actually runs.

My wife runs a cottage bakery from home and needed a fast way to design and print product labels. I built a small device, a credit-card-sized Raspberry Pi computer connected to a label printer, plus a web app to lay out labels and print them from any phone or laptop.

How a project works

Three stages, with me as your one point of contact the whole way through.

  1. Step 1: Plan

    You tell me about your business, what the site needs to do, and how it should look. Start with the design request form, or just call me. I reply within 48 hours.

  2. Step 2: Build

    I build a first version and share it early. You give feedback, I refine it, and nothing launches until you're happy with it. Most sites launch in 2 to 4 weeks, depending on size and features.

  3. Step 3: Run

    After launch I keep the site updated and running on a monthly management plan. Changes are a message away.

How billing works

Estimate
Free, and nothing is charged until you approve a mockup.
Business websites
From $500 up front, then $35 a month for updates, fixes and content changes.
Personal websites
From $250 up front, then $15 a month.
Payment options
The build fee grows with pages and features, and can be spread across a 6- or 12-month contract.
